Onawa Lake is located Southeast of Moosehead Lake and roughly 65 miles Northwest of Bangor. In fact, the State of Maine designated the geographic center of Maine in Onawa. We have a public boat launch for day visitors. There are no commercial conveniences (stores, facilities etc) for visitors.
